Why are global land temps so different than US land temps?

I thought the USA pumped out a lot of CO2. How come the temperature increase is so much higher for the rest of the globe?
 
The global record has been moving stations south. They are dumping stations in Russia and Canada and adding station in Morocco and Mexico.

The US stations aren't fiddling with the math to such a bad degree.
 
Just by eyeballing the chart, it looks like most of the last thirty years have been the hottest EVER. Odd that none of the 30's even come close. Could it be possible that some sort of bias has been inadvertently processed into the data? Accidentally perhaps?
