Why America Needs Mitt Romney

Romney campaign rolls out energy policy

By NBC's Garrett Haake

The Romney policy, spelled out in a white paper and on a conference call with reporters on Wednesday, focuses on developing domestic fossil fuels like oil, gas and coal - in large part by shifting federal responsibilities to the states, and by expanding exploration and production nationwide. Romney will outline the policy in oil-rich New Mexico on Thursday.

Romney's plan would make states the custodian of energy production on federal lands within their borders and allow them to implement their own federally-approved leasing practices. Such a move would effectively shift responsibility for permitting, leasing and environmental regulation to states, with the hope of speeding energy development by cutting red tape.

Romney's plan calls for reaching North American energy independence by 2020, primarily through expansion of traditional fossil fuels. The United States is currently the world's third largest oil producer, which Romney would hope to expand. The U.S. also currently imports more than half its oil from countries in the Western Hemisphere, with Canada making up a 29-percent share. Those imports could be increased through greater cooperation and by the immediate approval of the Keystone XL pipeline, and similar projects.

Because the poor and middle class still have some money left..?
Mittens is gonna' continue what Obama's doing and what Bush did. Guaranteed.

Oh I have no doubt he'll be elected, I'm just wondering which one of his campaign promises he'll break first ala Bill Clinton.

Yes, I'm sure Romney will do what regular politicians do , but at least Romney is pro business and Obama isn't.

Ya..it sucks... the indicator of buisiness health AKA the Dow Jones has more than doubled since the crash. It has grown more than 7000 points in less than three years. Pray tell you show in what three year period the leading business indicator has gained 7000 points other than the last three years. Business profits are at an all time high.

Ya, I see what you mean. Obama has been horrible for business.

Idiot.

Tampa, Fla. » Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who will introduce Mitt Romney tonight, touted the Republican presidential candidate on Thursday as perfectly qualified to turn the country back on the right course.

Addressing Utah delegates, Rubio offered a preview of his speech, pitching the party’s standard bearer as the fix-it man with a plan who has the credentials President Barack Obama lacks.

NJ Gov. Christie: 'America needs Mitt Romney'
August 28, 2012, 11:51 pm

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says it's time to end what he calls an "era of absentee leadership" in the White House.

Delivering the keynote address at the Republican National Convention, Christie aimed some of his remarks at President Barack Obama, saying, "Real leaders don't follow polls" -- but instead they "change polls" through the strength of their convictions. Instead of worrying about being popular, he said, leaders need to say "no" when necessary.

Subj: Why Windows in Airliner's Don't Roll Down.

As a frequent flyer of Jet Liners Mittwitt, let me educate you on the finer points of why windows in Jet liners don't "Roll Down".

An aircraft in flight...think about this for a minute.

A Jet Liner, is in essence a pressurized tube. The air inside the aircraft is recycled for use and the air outside is not.

Should a person who is uneducated as to what happens when one open's the cabin of an aircraft in flight, this is what would happen.

The air pressure inside the aircraft would equalize with the air outside. Passengers inside the aircraft (including the slag wife of Romney) would be sucked through the opening, killing them at once.

And Mittwitt, there are oxygen do in fact drop down in the event of a rapid loss of air pressure, but because the windows were rolled down, everybody inside the jet are dead.

Read what I posted on the other thread. At the right altitude( below 14,000 ft above sea level ) after the plane has been depresurized and flying near it's lower safe airspeed, around 150 knots one could theoretically knock out a rear window to evacuate smoke in the passenger compartment without causing anything to fly out of the broken window..

That is because of what Ben Bernanke has done. QE1,QE2,QE3.
Great for the stocks but bad for us.
It's devalued our dollar Bernanke needs to be fired.

WASHINGTON — Chairman Ben Bernanke offered a wide-ranging defense Monday of the Federal Reserve's aggressive policies to stimulate the still-weak economy.

The Fed needs to drive down long-term borrowing rates because the economy isn't growing fast enough to reduce high unemployment, Bernanke said in a speech to the Economic Club of Indiana. The unemployment rate is 8.1 percent.

Low rates could also help shrink the federal budget deficit by easing the government's borrowing costs and generating tax revenue from stronger growth, Bernanke argued.

The chairman cautioned Congress against adopting a law that would allow it to monitor the Fed's interest-rate discussions. The House has passed legislation to broaden Congress' investigative authority over the Fed – authority that would include a review of interest-rate policymaking. The Senate hasn't adopted the bill.

Bernanke warned that such a step would improperly inject political pressure into the Fed's private deliberations and affect the officials' decisions.

What is suppose to be done, when he is devaluing our dollar and things are going to cost us a hell of alot more than they are already?
Obama won't fire him.
Bernanke got an angry ear full from Brazil, Japan and China about QE3 this weekend.
He needs to be fired.

Why America Needs Mitt Romney

Because our middle class is still too big?

There are still a few manufacturing jobs that need taken away from American workers?

Romney needs a 3rd and 4th car elevator?

America does not need Romney for anything.

China does.

I don't think America needs more big government. We have more than we need already, with Obama and others in Congress.

No to both big government candidates.

Lies We Can Believe In

Truth as a Hate Crime

This is not the case with Obama. Obama is a different kind of person altogether. He is unique, and not in a good way. Most Americans understand that when Obama is speaking, he is lying to them to some degree. A lot of people accept being lied to this way. Most don't.

Obama spent the last fragments of his credibility long ago. The problem with Obama is that everything he has told us about himself has turned out to be untrue to some degree. He had to create a false image in order to sell himself to the American people. If Obama ran on his actual life story, he couldn't get elected dogcatcher outside Illinois.

Both of the books Obama wrote about himself, Dreams from My Father and The Audacity of Hope, are largely fictional. Joel Gilbert, in Dreams From My Real Father, makes a credible case that Barack Hussein Obama isn't Obama's real father at all. No dreams from a Muslim Kenyan communist. Gilbert believes that the communist writer Frank Marshall Davis is Obama's biological father and was his ideological mentor. Dreams from an atheist pornographer and anti-American, communist agitator. Which do you prefer? If President Obama would open up his birth files, we might be able to get to the bottom of the matter. He must have good reasons for concealing his true beginnings from us. About two million bucks' worth of reasons. What else is he hiding?
