It's really not going to be that hard to figure out after the fact:

I've felt strongly about this for quite a while.
Fascist as it may seem, I just dont understand the point of most of the aid, who, and disease eradication programs around the world. All that ends up happening is one generation surviving, multiplying into further population explosions - way beyond the ability of the land to support them, and even more pressure being put on the already fragile environment most of these people live in - like the Sahel.
Perhaps an answer would be "If you want aid from us you must be sterelised" - ouch thats unPC of me:terror:

As for the suicide bomber granny: I believe her husband had recently died and maybe she had had enough of life, wanted to be with him in 'paradise' and since suicide is forbidden chose a religiously legal suicide , i.e. 'martyrdom', as she didnt make much of a good job of it. (?)

It's usually just a "feel good now" policy without taking into consideration long term consequences. Irresponsible IMHO.
