When is the last time you heard a food stamp recipient or Section 8 recipient ask to pay the taxes that fund what they get? I think you are a little confused over who benefits from Food Stamps. The purpose of food stamps is to create demand for food to make it worthwhile to grow. If only those who could afford food bought it and we let supply and demand do it's thing, we'd be back to when milk farmers wer dumping milk they couldn't sell.

Kind of the same for Section 8. The purpose of Section 8 is to benefit property owners by keeping their units occuppied. Otherwise you'd have a lot of abandoned buildings with squatters in them because no one would bother to maintain them.

You see, I understand how this stuff confuses you.

So why not have house stamps, auto stamps, Vegas stamps, iPhone stamps, booze stamps, hooker stamps...etc. all good for the economy as Nancy claims.
