It's clear with the Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae disasters (government run programs & government sponsored programs[/])--that we got a good look at how effective the Federal government has been in the mortgage loan business. (We're all paying for this huge bail-out--along with the most recent financial disaster AIG--we "us" had to loan billions too, & we've all got our fingers crossed that they will be able to pay us back).
Now can anyone imagine what happens when the Federal government takes over health care--as Barack Obama is proposing.
GOVERNMENT IS NOT THE SOLUTION--IT'S THE PROBLEM! "Ronald Reagan".
Your thoughts?
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are (or were) private companies owned by stockholders.
This is probably why you vote republican. You don't understand basic facts.
Universal healthcare, as proposed by Obama is not government run.
Hospitals, Doctors, clinics, nurses are private businesses. There in no proposal on the table for government to take over hospitals or make doctors government employees.
All government would do, would be pay the bill. Just like Medicare does. Just like Bush and Cheney's government-paid healthcare does.
I think McCain and Bush are pretty happy with their government-financed healthcare plans.
