AN FBI cadaver dog searching the home of a missing Missouri baby detected the scent of a human body, according to a police affidavit.
The document, obtained by FOX News Channel, says the cadaver dog indicated a reaction to the scent of a dead person inside the bedroom of 11-month-old Lisa Irwin's parents on Monday.

Police used the affidavit to obtain a search warrant for the home of Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, after the couple apparently did not give authorities consent to conduct a search.

Police combed the Kansas City, Missouri, home for 17 hours Wednesday, eventually removing bags of evidence and carpets. They also used what appeared to be X-ray equipment during the probe, The Kansas City Star reported.

Do you think it was the mom who now says she was drunk the night Baby Lisa disappeared?

there's no way to tell. Babies are often dropped by intoxicated parents...but they can also be crushed, suffocated, the possibilities are endless.

But how can a parent rid herself of the child's body so skillfully in an intoxicated state. I'm sure if she did kill the child the body will be found and it will look just as sloppy as the rest, but if she was drunk, it seems she wouldn't have been able to hide the body so well that it hasn't yet been found.

You are assuming that mother didn't kill and dispose of the child's body THEN get intoxicated to provide herself an alibi. OR, really, accidentally cause the child's death while intoxicated, then dispose of the child's body afterwards.

I find this kind of discussion sickening. There is no fucking evidence of anything and yet a bunch of morons who clearly have nothing better to do with their lives, think it's ok to assume the kid is dead, and that the Mom did it.

Personally, I prefer to form opinions that have a foundation in facts... not make shit up and pretend that's a valid opinion.

seems now the norm is guilty till proven innocent....look at nancy grace

suspicious always falls to the mother when an infant dies.....the mother should know what happened simple as that....

plus the horrible cover ups......someone took the child in the middle of the night......

but then we all remember the Smarts...someone did take their child in the middle of the night

Well, for one we do not know that she is dead. Cadaver dog's are only as good as their handlers and have been wrong a lot lately. Unfortunately they are so well trained they can pick up on how their handler is feeling and often hit because the handler thinks something is going to be found there. I think Lisa's mom might have been more than drunk and won't say because she has other children in her custody. Also, there is a lot of evidence that someone other than her mother took her out of the house that night. Now, it could be that an accident happened and she called someone to help her, but you would think that someone had a car and wouldn't be walking down the street suspiciously.

Drunks can be remarkably resourceful.

Or she didn't dispose of the body until she sobered up.

Or her husband did it.

The possibilities are endless.
