Well, if you consider the question in another light, such as "Who is benefiting the most from the Iraq War?", then the answer is quite simple: China. During the course of this war, the United States has borrowed ungodly amounts of money from China in order to fund it, as we all know. But are we also all aware of the fact that the "no bid" contracts that the United States government had issued to American oil companies have been overturned by the Iraqi government, and that the Iraqis then proceded to award those contracts to Chinese oil companies. Thoughts? Opinions?
There is a proverb; "The borrower is servant to the lender". I guess pretty soon, we'll be doing their laundry.
I'd say Iran is the main beneficiary of Bush's Iraq War. Bush got rid of Iran's most mortal enemy and most direct threat. And Bush enabled a corrupt Shia dominated government, who is largely sympathetic to Iran, to attain power.
china...we have stimulated their economy way too much..one of the reasons i see mccain as a failure is his non support of american products and manufacturing.
It's really not a question of who is "winning" .... it is a question of "who is suffering" from it? And that is the US servicemen/women, that are doing what they believe is best for our country, because George W. Bush, and his trained monkey supporters, said/say so! The other losers of this war? We American's that are paying for it each and every day. And .... the innocent Iraqi people that are "caught in the middle".
