I posted this once before here...she never wanted to become a big time singer, she appeared here in the movie hair - and then sang in a few stray bands and on stage in plays.
her voice is amazing...When she auditioned for hair she was a maid in a motel that was holding the auditions...no agent..no manager...but when they heard her sing this...the rest is history
