The ideological left and their coersing of the financial markets; this a function of their rush to 'social justice.' It's a blatant abuse of power, and throughly reprehensible. Bawney Fwank is a criminal of the highest order and should be charged, arrested and tried for crimes against "The People." As should those CEO in the financial industry that failed to tell Bawney Fwank to kiss their ass and dare him to sue them on those civil rights charges that Fwank threatened them with.

Obama administration special envoy Richard Holbooke was on the American International Group Inc. board of directors in early 2008 when the insurance company locked in the bonuses now stoking outrage across the U.S.

Holbrooke, a veteran diplomat who is now the administration's point man on Pakistan and Afghanistan, served on the board between 2001 and mid-2008. During that period, AIG undertook the aggressive investment strategies that led to a near-collapse and forced a multibillion-dollar federal bailout.

President Obama has insisted his administration was not responsible for AIG's financial woes, and a White House spokesman said Thursday that Holbrooke was unaware of AIG's decision to award retention bonuses to key employees.

"Mr. Holbrooke had nothing to do with and knew nothing about the bonuses," spokesman Tommy Vietor said.

Close to $165 million in bonus money was paid last weekend.

Take another day off bobo it's getting worse!

Holbrook... Holbrook... Huh... that name sounds SO very familiar... wasn't he the guy that 'sold out an undercover CIA agent?' Which was a HUGE deal until it turned otu that a Leftist was the one that did it?

Secondly, how scary is it that we have a Holbrook as the point man for the Marxist regime's attempt to let the US Globalk War on Terror dry on the vine?
