Did she play around with Bill Clinton just to win her husband a pardon?

Naw, that would be a "conspiracy theory".

Wonder how many people have given up their citizenship last year? Couple thousand maybe? I also wonder how many just up and left; sold out, packed up, and moved out. Given enough money, I suspect they could have new identities created in a foreign country, who would be happy to have them and their money.

This is not a problem exclusive to the US, as we speak wealthy frenchmen are leaving their homeland for other climes, as have rich spaniards, italians, greeks. When Sweden raised their marginal tax rate a few decades ago, many rich swedes including, Bjorn Borg, Abba, and director Ingmar Berman left.

Is it a big deal? In the big picture, maybe not in terms of the overall GDP. But what's going on if our wealthy citizens are pulling out? Congress has passed laws to prevent big money from leaving; it's controversial when other countries and their banks have to bow to American laws. Yet another restriction on individual liberty, no?
