Nixon was bad, no doubt.
But he engineered detente with the SOviet Union and opened the door to China. We had some economic problems that he didnt help. But nothing like Obama, who is a total failure, foreign and domestic.

Okay, let's look at Richard Nixon.

1) Finally settled the Vietnam War.
2) Established OSHA and the EPA.
3) Concluded the first SALT treaty that probably prevented nuclear armageddon.
4) Opened relations with China, changing the whole dynamic of the Cold War by getting the Communist Bloc to work against itself.
5) Unemployment was at 5.6% when he was re-elected by a landslide in 1972.

When Nixon was president, we ran trade surpluses, people made good money, we still had a strong middle class, and we were putting men on the moon.

Incidently, there is no evidence that Nixon actually ordered the break-in. What got Nixon in trouble was trying to protect his underlings. (Today, they just let the underlings fall on their swords- Ollie North, Webb Hubble, Scooter Libby.)

Now, let's compare thse points to B. Hussein.

1) Is letting us flail around in Afghanistan for no purpose, and got us into an eve more pointless war in Libya.
2) Established ObamaCare, which is universally hated.
3) Russia is starting to act beligerent again.
4) China is now dictating terms to us, and stealing our jobs.
5) Unemployment is at 9.2% officially, and probably 16.2% unofficially.

We run huge trade deficits, people's real wages are declining, the middle class is declining and NASA is putting a "Going out of Business" sign on the door.

And while Nixon's White House sponsored a rather pointless political prank at the Watergate, Eric Holder's Justice Department was apparently allowing Mexican drug gangs to buy weapons at trade shows so they could bash gun ownership.
