I love to see our flag flying, and I am not a stickler for all the rules we are suppposed to follow about how to fly it, when to take it down, etc.
But I think some people go too far. Someone in our neighborhood is having their roof replaced, and parked in their driveway is a dumpster to collect the old roofing material. The dumpster is painted end-to-end with the image of the American flag. It seems, well, unseemly to me.
