I doubt the world will.

Without the USSR, there's really no way for large-scale nuclear exchange to occur. We might very well see nuclear strikes this century-- especially if Iran gets the Bomb or Pakistan falls to the Taliban-- but they'll be limited exchanges. Casualties would be in the hundreds of millions, not billions, and the human population will recover.

Probably see some interesting shakeups in world powers, though.

For the most part you are correct. However, with an ever growing population, we will need to rethink how we use our resources, especially water. Also, we will have to do even more to control pollution. Eventually however, we will hit that point, where it won't be feasible to continue supporting a growing population.

Whites will still be the largest ethnic group, so I wouldn't say they will become a minority, although they will no longer be the majority. Truthfully, I really don't care what ethnicity becomes dominant in the US, so long as it does not change our political process or reduce our freedoms.

We are in a much different situation than Europe, where it seems very likely that Muslims will eventually become the majority and may well try to move to a theocratic form of governance at that time.

Actually, we could do that. The question though, is how well we could do it and whether it makes sense to do it. There is no doubt the US could support a population of over 1 billion, but again, is that in our best interest? And I think most of us would agree that it is not.

Yet the pattern thus far has shown precisely the opposite:

The more multiracial we become, the LESS freedom we have.

The fact is that racial and ethnic groups can't just be jumbled together in a society with the expectation that a cohesive polity or culture will magically spring up. Multiracialism is a recipe for disaster. Some of those who seek to make America "multicultural" understand this perfectly.

The sad thing to me is that most whites believe that a racially diverse society is a desirable object. This is lunacy. Just look at South Africa, where now that blacks run the show instead of whites, whites have become victims of horrific violent crime, exclusion from jobs and power by aggressive affirmative action, and so on.
