whitehouse strips nonunion members of their benefits and gives them to union employee

If Obama didn't have the unions, he would die a slow death. He's sacrifice everyone for the unions.

The U.S. Treasury Department, under the tutelage of Timothy Geithner, may have been behind the termination of roughly 20,000 pensions of salaried retirees at Delphi auto parts manufacturing company,*The Daily Callerreports. The decision, according to the DC, was based solely on the fact that the retirees were not members of labor unions.“The internal government emails contradict sworn testimony, in federal court and before Congress, given by several Obama administration figures,” the*DC’s*article says.“They also indicate that the administration misled lawmakers and the courts about the sequence of events surrounding the termination of those non-union pensions, and that administration figures violated federal law,” he adds.A quick history lesson: Delphi is owned by General Motors. Back in 2009, when the Obama administration was “saving” the auto industry, 20,000 non-union Delphi employees saw their pensions get wiped out. However, unionized Delphi workers had no problem with their pensions. In fact, they saw their pensions “topped off and made whole,” as the DC puts it.Now keep in mind the White House and the Treasury Department claim they had nothing to do with the pension terminations. They say the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), a fed agency that takes care of private-sector pension benefits, made the call all on its own.“As a result of the Delphi Corporation bankruptcy, for example, Delphi and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation were forced to terminate Delphi’s pension plans, which means there are Delphi retirees who unfortunately will collect less than their full pension benefits,” Former Treasury official Matthew Feldman testified on July 11, 2012.

the blaze, gramps? really?

90% of the Blazes content is nothing but videos that put prove how fucking tyrannical progressives are in their own words...

Let me guess, you don't accept quotes and videos from a bunch of socialists shooting their mouths off??

Yeah I know it's hard for you to believe your precious progressives are a bunch of scumbags and The Blaze does a fantastic job of showing it....

What difference does it make where it comes from? It's either accurate or it isn't. Could come from politicalhate.com for all I care.

So are you saying the e-mails are bogus and don't exist, other sources are reporting the same information, so I gather you just don't want to deal with the fact that Obama intentionally screwed workers out of their pensions.

Mitt made lots from taking over companys and raiding their pension funds.
It is what outfits like Bain does.

So if Romney does it, then it is okay for Obama to do it.

Really? That justifies taking away what people have earned? I'm thinking they are taking the money because they are not union and it was a union favor, just as what the e-mails indicate. It also shows how this administration has no issue in committing perjury before Congress.

Way to get histrionic. I'm just making a point.

You guys yell and scream about how unions don't help workers, and are unnecessary - and then when the union gets a win for it's members, you guys get outraged.

This is a perfect example of the benefits of union membership - people lobbying for you.

Those non-union guys didn't have to pay union dues - but on the other hand, they didn't get the power of collective bargaining and political lobbying either.

This is an open admission that Obama was lying out of his ass when he said he was going to change the way business in Washington is done by special interests.

"Aw, hell, boys. I was just funnin'. Here's some taxpayer dollars for your union."

Simple indeed for a blind bot on auto response

Please show where I was incorrect in my post.

you are arguing with someone who hates our prez for being Black

I don't hate him for being black, this is not a racist discussion but you clearly missed that. I don't like Obama because he has an agenda that is not good for the whole company. Unions, blacks and not the hispanics are his targets and since they are easily led the make great voters. How about representing everyone for a change.

Do you really think that anyone thought Obama was going "Change" anything?

are you challenging the validity of their article?

I bet they wish they had joined UAW...

I bet you think it is perfectly ok for Obama to steal from one group to give to another right.
Well, no. But that's not what happened here.

sure it did doc.... the bond funds and the collateralized debt. holders all got the short money, example; the funds that took less interest on their bonds over the years, in exchange for maximum protection/security should anything ever happen to GM got 19 cents on the dollar. WE, you and I floated the deal and are still not paid back.

Now lets be clear, I am not nor was I in favor of Delphi being made whole by the gov., this is life, they took their chances, the co. went belly up and was not in good shape for years before the housing bust anyway, But neither should have the UAW, who also 'owned' at least 35% of the reason why GM Chrysler etc. were in trouble ....

the ONLY reason why the UAW didn't take it in the rear end Delphi style was- VOTES and campaign sppt and $$$$$$...you know it, and I know it;)

So people knew Obama was a liar and voted for him anyway. I guess I thought people were smarter than that.

Yep. Just like Bush, and Clinton, and Bush, and Reagan, and Carter, and Ford.... and so on.

Every politician is a liar.
I guess I thought people were smarter than that.
Why would you think that?
