Using the system to game is another issue that is beyond justice whether it is a corrupted power fiefdom or a civilan individual or individuals who want to gain payouts on the system. In a general sense the best of the best is what we must shoot for in the mover and shaker game and we do not do that. NOW- In 1990, I bought a Toshiba TV. It didn't burn out until about 2011. I just bought a new one, probably should have chucked out the extra money for a wide screen but I didn't. That one still runs today, but I finally got rid of it this year, not because it stopped working, but because so many shows are in HD, wide screen format you really can't watch them on a regular tv anymore.

But we all look romantically on the "Good old days" of three channels on a TV that didn't work half the time like this was something great.

Only an insane nation demonized people who play by thew rules. Who may have gotten into not a great situation in a spouse and sticks with it as a responsible person. That has been massively diminished in the modern era. Up to 80% of the children in inner cities are of a single parent. The divorce rat approximates 50% and Milennial males at half are not even ever contemplating marriage. We have a culture uplifting single parent families and same sex families are pushed also. This is a start to where we are at and what privilege is and is not. An economic downturn is much needed as your Progs want. But what you will see is massive dislocations of people and a much lower standard of living even then now.
