Dissent is the highest form of Shut the Fuck Up!!! You're serving Al Qaeda!!!!

"In an oped in USA Today, John Brennan -- Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism -- responds to critics of the Obama administration's counterterrorism policies by saying "Politically motivated criticism and unfounded fear-mongering only serve the goals of al-Qaeda."

You're either with us, or against us - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Historical quotations
Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, in a speech discussing the Chief Committee for Political Education, told the assembled delegates that "It is with absolute frankness that we speak of this struggle of the proletariat; each man must choose between joining our side or the other side. Any attempt to avoid taking sides in this issue must end in fiasco." [3]
George Orwell wrote in his 1942 essay "Pacifism and the War", "If you hamper the war effort of one side you automatically help that of the other. Nor is there any real way of remaining outside such a war as the present one. In practice, ‘he that is not with me is against me’. The idea that you can somehow remain aloof from and superior to the struggle, while living on food which British sailors have to risk their lives to bring you, is a bourgeois illusion bred of money and security."
Benito Mussolini declared in speeches across fascist Italy: "O con noi o contro di noi"--You're either with us or against us.<>
Hillary Clinton said on September 13, 2001: "Every nation has to either be with us, or against us. Those who harbor terrorists, or who finance them, are going to pay a price." [4]
President George W. Bush, in an address to a joint session of Congress on September 20, 2001 said, "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists."[5]

The liberoids went apoplectic when anybody on the right suggested during the years of the Bush Administration that unfair and unbalanced criticism of the war effort in time of war might provide a kind of aid or comfort to the enemy.

But now that the liberoids are the Administration, that kind of rhetoric (ratcheted up a few levels) is suddenly "a-ok."

The fucking uber-libs couldn't be any more transparent in their endless hypocrisy.

Either they are too stupid to learn from history, or too arrogant to think that it won't backfire on them the same way it did on Bush. What's funny is how libs remind us of that history, while thumbing their noses at everything they claimed to stand for back then.

You know something. you are quickly turning into the single biggest liar on this forum. And that is saying something given the likes of Chris and NYCarb.....

No one was called traitor for disagreeing with Bush. They were called treasonous by some for making anti-American statements. I wasn't one of them but agreed that some of the comments were borderline. If you cannot distinguish between speaking out against policy and simply being anti-American, then there is no hope for you.

Now answer Me this question. When it was alleged that Bush was silencing dissent by using phrases like, "Being against the war is just being political and harms America's cause" did you or didn't you scream at the top of your lungs that the administration was silencing dissent?

But more importantly. If you hated it then, why are you defending it now?

    Like what Sherry?

    Please give examples.

BTW , this is not Obama saying this is it?

Bush said it himself over and over and you brick brains repeted it daily.

What is the title of the man saying this?

Bush never once told people that dissent harmed the war. Not once.

Now answer the question. Why do you support it now when you didn't then?
