The left is scared of Newt because he is out there with a message that resonates with so many Americans struggling in this dismal economic situation without the assistance of food stamps. The vast majority of Americans would rather go hungry, and a lot have.
Newt is out there, trying to get in front of any minority audience that he can, and he starts out with that question. He is out there stating the factual statement that this president is the "most successful food stamp president ever". the left is screaming racism.
I believe Newt is of the dying Republican party, the country club, sellout Republican. I believe the new Republican party is a party of libertarianism, self-empowering, limited military, and I believe that is what the overwhelming majority of Americans are.
Obama ran on libertarian issues. All of which we learned was BS.
But the question is valid, and it really puts what is at risk in focus. The black community is crying fowl. Is this a fair question? Is it tinged with racism?
