Which would do more damage: 1 million barrels or 300 barrels?

I know,I know.. but I've YET to have any anti-pipeline person admit:
There would be MORE damage at a high chance of occurring from 1 million barrels in another shipwreck like Exxon Valdez then from a pipeline of oil that has at most 300 barrels flowing in one mile of pipe!

The ship wrecks.. millions of barrels of oil coating thousands of miles of coast!


VERSUS 300 barrels at the most damaging at the most less then 1 mile on land and easy to reclaim and restore!

The purpose of this thread is to see if ANY anti-pipeline comment will agree with the facts..
more damage from shipping the oil then from the pipeline!

I've NOT seen one person in favor of the pipeline also concur!

WHY folks... is it too hard to comprehend by both parties that 1 million barrels in a ship will have greater chances of damage and damage more then 300 barrels on one mile of dry land???
