So, as many of you know, I love to plan ahead. So, I decided to make it a poll, and I ask for help. Here are what I ask you judge the states by, for me:

-Agricultural Economy [Looking for a Majority Ag State]
-Education [At least 1 decent University]
-Population Size [Looking for smaller]
-Your Opinion [Tell me why you think this one is better then the other :)]

catfish ......... ewwwwwwwwww

Buncha wide open fields for hay

lol yea, but also have to check soil, weather patterns, etc.

I just know I'll end up spending well over 200 thousand building up this operation later on. Unless I ask for help from my family, but I do not want to do that after I am out of this house.

Missouri.

Some counties in the Show-Me State are nearly deserted. Dade County for example has a population density of 15 persons per square mile, and at it's farthest point, it is only 40 miles to downtown Springfield, MO. This part of Missouri has the darkest soil I've seen outside of Iowa. As an added bonus, Dade County has Stockton Lake...I fish there often, some of the best walleye fishing in North America. It covers 39 square miles and has nearly 300 miles of shoreline.

And here's a link to the Missouri Department of Agriculture.

Over half of Missouri's Agricultural economy is livestock...Missouri is #9 in cattle production nationwide...and borders four of the eight higher producing states.
