those 40 million people without insurance will have it.How the hell could Romney be less harmful, when he's proposing to do the same shit that got us into this hole in the first place?
How could he be less harmful than the incumbent?
By not repeating the imbecility that passes for Administration policy, now.
You dickless idiot.
Absofuckinglutely. Bush bought us to the economic abyss, that most economists stated would drive us into a major depression if nothing were done. Obama began to turn us around with TARP, the Stimulus, and Cash for Clunkers. Those same economists suggested that unemployment would be at least 2 points higher had nothing been done. So people traded in their old cars, for fuel efficient models, and our demand for foreign oil goes down. TARP II gets the financial industry giving out commercial and personal credit again. GM is saved from chapter 7, and we still have a company that produces many strategic products for us. The middle class tax cuts increase consumer demand. The stock market returns to pre-recession levels, and our 401Ks are looking much better at a time when many people are beginning to retire.
The health care reform act will save tens of millions of people from being denied claims or insurance on the pre-existing condition rules. All insurance companies now are required to provide baseline services, that many of those cut rate companies tried to hide in their fine print. Soon, those 40 million people without insurance will have it. All this will be done in such a way as it will reduce the deficit over the next 20 years.
We're safer from terrorist threats, since Obama takes the war on terror seriously and is waging it smartly, and keeping our troops much safer. Iraq has been drawn down without the disaster predicted by the GOP. We're starting to bring down our combat troops in Afghanistan. Bin Laden is dead, and al Qaeda now knows that there's no safe haven, when we can just as easily take them out sitting at a Nintendo-like console. Have you seen the new generation of carrier based drones coming out the door?
We haven't done as well as I hoped in bringing down our dependence on fossil fuel, thanks to the Koch suckers in congress. But we've made progress.
Did you know that Obama has overseen the creation of private sector jobs than Bush did at this point of his first term?
What's not to like? If he wasn't stymied by NutSack Sucking Party congressmen, we'd have done a hell of a lot better. Watch what happens when the Bush tax cuts expire. I hope congress is willing to keep them for the middle class. But I predict, just like the '94 increases will result in much more foreign investment and an increase in the value of the dollar.
now its back up to 40 million......this number goes up and down more times than a hookers head....
