Diatribe? I'm not angry or bitter about these things. The OP considers these petty briberies in his poll some sort of moral nadir, and asked for worse. I gave solid examples which are much, much, worse, and one of which resulted in a war, and people dying. Betraying your entire country is much worse than pay bribes to get your kid into college. I mean nobody died as a result.

All of thos things actually happened, according to the President's own words and admissions, and those of his staff, and while abuse of power isn't a crime, it is impeachable according to the Constitution.
