Which group of people today would be most like our forefathers?

The 'founders' had inspiration from great thinkers. They came up with some good ideas. There was still a lot they didn't know, didn't understand and didn't do right. They left documents that could address change. Today, much that they didn't or couldn't deal with looks obvious to us. We can't judge them from that perspective, but we can do things now, for us, from our perspective. That led to votes for women, ending slavery, breaking up monopolies and other good things. War power acts, outlandish lobbying, unthinkable campaign spending and invasion of privacy are some examples of negative things.
Who should lead today? Minds as great, as instructed, as inspired as the 'founders'.
Where are they?

The requisite media-performed colonoscopy endured during any political campaign keeps most intelligent people from public service. Who in their right mind would subject themselves or their families to that, except the usual shameless hussys?

Media is the main enemy. No other force in America has such power to undermine the nation.

Media only provide stories. People provide belief. Believing stories is the problem, not the story.
