Of the following, which country's economy is the least free?

Australia?
Switzerland?
United States?
Canada?
Denmark?

Find the answer here: Country Rankings

Surprised?

The U.S. is to the left of other Western countries on other issues too.

What other Western country elected a person of color as their national leader?

U.S. abortion laws offer fewer protections for the unborn.

When Is a Ban on Abortions ‘Extreme’?
House bill would leave in place among the most liberal abortion laws in Western world.

Though considering the abortion industry targets women, minorities, and the handicapped for elimination maybe we should classify pro-abortion as far right.

Is the U.S. the least prudish Western country?

well, liberals don't like a free economy. they would rather have soviet elites in Washington regulate the economy because they know best and are never corrupt.

Can you name the nations with a pure capitalistic or pure socialistic economic systems? There might be some on this planet? Most nations have a mixed economy, some socialism, some capitalism, a dab of communism, and a sprinkle of fascism and maybe some things we haven't identified as yet. America has had a mixture of socialism, capitalism including government regulation since the ink dried on the Constitution.

dear, no one disagrees with the obvious. When Captain Obvious points out the obvious he only shows his low liberal IQ?

All dogs have fleas.

What's your point?

China is 137 mostly unfree? Huh? To Republicans, China is a model of business. It's how Republicans think it should be here.

North Korea is at the bottom of the list with a rank of 178.

No Republican ever claimed China is a "model of business." In fact, Obama has often made comments about how much he admires China.

Its important to note that China has made significant moves toward capitalism and in so doing instantly eliminated 40% of world poverty. As importantly, it has a tiny social safety net so everyone has to work and contribute and save. In many ways it is more capitalistic than America. On balance there is less leeching there than here.
