Maybe Fox was updating their webpage after they got away with spreading more lies and conspiracy theories.

Fox News and the Fox Nation falsely suggested that President Obama was giving a "major strip" of land in Arizona "back to Mexico.

During that America Live report, guest host Shannon Bream stated: "A massive stretch of Arizona now off limits to Americans. Critics say the administration is, in effect, giving a major strip of the Southwest back to Mexico."

But according to Bonnie Swarbrick, who is the public information officer for the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge in Arizona, the "massive stretch" of land is about five miles square, it's been closed since 2006, and it obviously hasn't been given back to Mexico.

As for the Fox Nation headline, Swarbrick called it "totally false" and said the notion that America had given the land back to Mexico is "ludicrous."

If Americans can't use the land or have access, it might as well be in Mexico. That was their point. Of course, you have to be smart enough to understand the nature of the comment. I'm not going to wait up or hold my breath.

That most certainly was NOT their point. Their point, I mean propoganda, was that the Obama "administration is, in effect, giving a major strip of the Southwest back to Mexico.", just like they said. Which is a flat out lie to mislead conservatives and get them riled up that Obama is yielding to Mexico somehow.

This is why it was closed, in 2006 no less: Swarbrick told Media Matters that the area in the refuge bordering Mexico was "closed in 2006 during the construction of a vehicle barrier." Work on the vehicle barrier progressed into the construction of a 12-foot fence along the part of the refuge that borders Mexico, which is about seven miles long. The area has been kept closed "to allow the Border Patrol to do their work," she said. Swarbrick added that the small strip of land that is closed makes up "less than 0.03 percent" of the refuge and said that the rest of the reserve is still open to the public.

Since this is continuing at present, then Obama's adminstration is, in effect as you say, letting Mexico have the land. Your own words show it for what it is. Is this the best you got? Fail.

If you want to "save liberty", I suggest you start by seeking the truth and stop sticking up for media outlets that use propoganda and outright lies to play to their base.

Can you read? .03% of the area is CLOSED for border patrol. It is not Mexico.

Are you dense? This 5 square mile area is closed to Americans. It is next to Mexico. Who is using it? Mexicans. The defense you and the left are using is, it isn't that big a place. So what?

They made too much money. So Fox made some acquistions: Jon Stewart, Keith Obermann and the Lakers.
I heard that Keith Olbermann was in the "reduced for quick sale" bin at MSNBC. His [Olbermanns] ratings currently occupy sub-basement 3, and digging into new ground quickly. Then again I don't watch the "other" news channels; it's Fox News or nothing.

You have to remember, for some of the non-thinkers out there. They allow MSNBC, C-NBC, CNN, Headline News, Bloomburg and the other television news outlets do their thinking for them.
I go to Fox News, Heritage.org(or .com), Human Events, CBN.com and other websites for my news and I still think for myself. If I am wrong then I am wrong.

Take heart. For evening newscasts the 3 big networks still have a margin of victory by like 6 to 1.

But... they are also slumping fast. As well as all major printed publications.
