Your problem is that you seem to think that just because a person is registered as a member of a particular party, it means that they are a partisan hack. Not everyone, in fact, most Americans are not hacks. They belong to one party or another simply because they feel that they need to be a part of a party and in many states, you pretty much are forced into one party or the other in order to vote in primary election, my state is one of those states. However, I think most people simply chose the party that their parents were members of and wouldn't dream of changing parties. Some will change parties for instance if they are pro-life and grew up with Democratic parents, but typically they adopt their parent's party and go about their merry ways.

California's economy has been ruined by the left....so is New Jersey's and New York's and Michigan's and Ohio's. Everywhere Democrats are in the majority hardships soon follow for the voters. They have no incentive to improve our lot because statistically they know that if you become self-sufficient you won't need their entitlement programs and by that reckoning you won't need them. So they want to take what you have and put you in the same boat as the poor that depends on them.

And one more thing, we are talking about citizens of the United States not the corrupt bastards living in Washington dictating to the rest of us.

You have to spend alot of time rationalizing and explaining away what your representatives are doing to be able to support them. That is if you're really paying attention. But fact is most Democrat voters aren't paying attention. Watching most of the Networks and Cable News they hardly mention that Global Warming has been revealed to be a massive hoax. The scientists that generated the statistics that were used to prove man-made Global Warming revealed in their emails that they were pulling a fast one. Many have no idea this is the case.

Human-beings are inherently evil. Joining a cliché or being with the "In" crowd at the expense of others is evil. It's easy really. Just find a demon and put all the evil in the world in that demon. This is how a liar...a dishonest public official leads voters around like lemmings. Anyone who talks and thinks like me becomes a hack....the bad guy. All I'm doing is not falling for the BS and just using common-sense and keeping informed.

It's so simple. They play on our human weaknesses. Envy, guilt, fear, hatred, bigotry, all of these are tools they can use against us to get their way. It's easy because all you want to do is care. But instead you're just being too trusting. The Dems in Washington have been playing a game of "How can we fool them today" for years. We catch them in a lie but they have their own media to report their lies and attack their critics. Even if you catch them lying to you, you still fall for the next liberal cause. Saving babies from the evil GOP. Baby Seals. Polar Bears. Health Care for healthy folks. Old folks can lose their Medicare just so the children can be saved.

well, 1 republican is proud about their condition. the right-bent indys hold their third proportion, roughly. i suspect that third-pary folks are largely libertarians, with a few dropping their votes there to obstain from the big show.

What I see is alot of angry folks out there. Alot of people that want more out of their government, not settle for the lessor of two evils.

Liberals will always vote Democrat. They think that voting for them means they care. Democrats historically used to be full of bigots and old farts [They still are].
