Where were the tea party people...

...when Bush was President?

Did they exist? Were they protesting, but we just didn't notice?

Or did they all agree with what George Bush was doing?

Where were they during clinton, or did they agree with what bubba the sexual predator was doing?

Since some can't seem to move their tiny brains forward to the current day obama administration, lets just keep going back and dig it all up.... :cuckoo:

It's called history.

I was just wondering if the people in the tea party movement are a new phenomenon who always had been pro-government prior to Jan 2009.

Nope... they're just regular, salt of the earth, middle Americans that have been pushed too far by an out of control liberal government lead by what they see as a dictator type, socialist President.

It's as simple as that.

Present. It didn't start getting bad until Bush invaded Iraq. Then the Democrats ran a complete screw-up for President in 2004 and he almost got elected. After that, the Democrats won both the House and Senate in 2006, but things still weren't getting better. And now, we've got a Bush clone (a.k.a., Clown) named Obama who, coupled with Reid and Pelosi, are too much for liberty-minded people to bear. If you're not a member of or support the Tea Party movement, it is safe to say that you are either anti-liberty or just don't care.

They were angry but were still asleep, they have now witnessed the radical left of this country in power and they have woken up.

The ONLY complaint I heard from Republicans for the first 6 years of president Bush's reign on spending was that "Kerry would have been worse"....

the last 2 years of the bush presidency the republicans began speaking out BECAUSE THEY LOST THEIR BUTTS in the 2006 elections....

Please STOP trying to rewrite history now...you voted for him and then after all of his and congress's spending like drunken sailors, you voted for him AGAIN....so stop with this crapola...

Kerry definitely would have been worse. However, most of the Republicans I know started complaining before the 2004 Presidential election. I guess it's just who you know.

When Bush was president there was no concern about the ever growing size of the government or the ever shrinking ways to fund the government. Mainly because this group of people, the so-called tea partiers, were happy that as long as Bush was in charge gays wouldn't ever have equal rights, there was a chance that roe v. wade would be overturned, and they had a daddy figure to tuck them in at night and whisper, "I'll protect you from both the terrorists and the evil liberals."

This all changed when Obama won the election...though to be fair they probably would have reacted in a similar manner if Hillary had won. Now they are bitter and afraid...as evidenced by the signs they sport at their protests.

Sure will be great to see those shitty liberals get their asses kicked to the curb in 2010.

14 months....then we'll see if you are right...

If you were a bettin' man, and let's say you've been paying attention since you created this thread, what do you think is going to happen?

(And I'll take a bottle of those pills.)
