Lock them up is the conservative solution to almost every problem faced by the inner city. So much that we lead the world in incarcerationFar from a deflection.....it is an assessment of the failures of Republicans to do a thing for those in the inner cityWhat are Republicans doing for those people? The Liberal elite prefer that poor uneducated minorities be corralled in inner city ghettos, far away from their gated communities. It's much easier to feed them Dem propaganda and herd them to polling places with the cheat sheets for voting the Dem ticket.
Pathetic deflection. Their condition is due to what the Dems do for them.
But if you want a response: Lincoln was a Repuglican..The Civil Rights Act of 1964 passed because of GOP support in the Senate. Then along came LBJ to destroy the black family with the Great Society...the result being generations of feral, uneducated, violent youth.
They giggle and point out that people are still poor in spite of Democrats trying to help them....yet, Republicans have done nothing for our inner cities outside of building more prisons
Locking up the killers and thugs and robbers that prey upon them is a good thing.
It is telling that you don't consider it such.
Also decades of support for Civil Rights and AA.
Conservatives are unwilling to spring for schools, medical care or infrastructure in those neighborhoods
They have no problem springing for another prison
Throwing money at the problem never fixes the problem. 16 trillion spent on poverty over the course of forty some odd years and we have more people in poverty than ever before. We don't have a school shortage, what you have is a shortage of people willing to do what it takes to attend and to learn.
