Where Is Heaven?

All references refer to UP being heaven and DOWN being hell. Those poor ignorant people who believed in witches and thought the earth was flat didn't realize that the earth rotates toward the east at approximately 1000mph and that what's UP at 12:00 AM is DOWN at 12 PM. What a bunch of losers!!

3. Jesus said, "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the (Father's) kingdom is within you and it is outside you.

When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will understand that you are children of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty."

Do you consider yourself a Christian D4E?

I'm a Jew. I 'consider' myself fair, impartial, and indifferent. Will read anything and everything about God until I run out of questions.

Heaven is a place you can't get to unless you help fill the collection plate.

There are Preachers and denominations/churches after money...
But God will reveal TRUE Christians.. don't let the bad apples spoil the bunch....

You are cynical and bitter.. why?

Top 10% goes to God. Says so right in the book. How else can God (and his priests) live in McMansions and fly around in Lear jets and wear the latest fashions...I mean, do God's work without your mandatory donations?

You better kick into the kitty because God has accountants.

Travel west to Albuquerque till you reach the Schlossen cut-off...then cut-off your Schlossen, swing the bloody stump over your head and scream like a chicken.

WTF?

The OP asks where heaven is...I gave directions. Whether those directions are correct or not you'll have to find out for yourself. If I am wrong, I will gladly take responsibility...but ya gotta prove me wrong first.

I thought you had to be dead to get there.. my bad... ;)

I think cutting off your Schlossen and living would be more like Hell.

When tithes become mandatory isn't it just a tax and the religion a government? And as such, competition with every country's government?

How about a little scripture on that? I think maybe you either pulled that one out of your arse or heard it from your friendly pastor on Sunday morning at the car and clothes show.

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 10:9-13
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Revelation 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

John 14:2
In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

1 Corinthians 2:9
But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—

Revelation 22:1-5
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.

Luke 23:43
And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

Matthew 6:19-21
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Luke 12:33-34
Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

1 Timothy 6:17-19
As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.

Verse 21. - Subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ.

The last of the participial exhortations depending on the general exhortation of ver. 15 to walk strictly, Most commentators connect it with the three immediately preceding participles (speaking, singing, giving thanks), but are unable to find a link of connection. Better connect with ver. 15. Mutual subjection is part of a wise, circumspectwalk, i.e. mutual recognition of each other's rights and of our obligations to serve them. In some sense we are all servants, i.e. we are bound to serve others; the very father is, in this sense, servant of his child.
So in the Christian Church we are all in a sense servants ("By love serve one another," Galatians 5:15; comp. Matthew 20:26-28;John 13:15, 16). This view is in harmony with the humble spirit of the gospel.
Pride leads us to demand rigorously from others what we fancy they owe to us; humility, to give to others what Christ teaches that we owe to them. The one feeling is to be discouraged, the other exercised and strengthened.

I only read the first one.

I can remember learning that in Sunday school and asking if that meant daddy killed his son. I can also remember questioning these imaginary creatures that no one could see and places that no one had ever been to.

The fat little lady with the enormous, down to her waist and beyond, really creepy, grabbed your ear if you fidgeted, Church Lady wasn't pleased.

I'm certain there has never ever been a more successful or more profitable scam.

For starters clown I am not a Christian, my interest is in mysticism. For someone who does not understand the rotation of the earth you sure are an arrogant piece of work. Here is the scripture though it will be beyond your comprehension.

Luke 17:20-21King James Version (KJV)

20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Colossians 1:26-27King James Version (KJV)

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Hey! Where pray tell is their anything about heaven being in the individual? You pulled that out of your arse.

Here's a few you should familiarize yourself with:

Revelation 21:
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.
ain't that hell?

ain't this heaven?

Hebrews 13:
14For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

Rev 21
