Most people understood that once Papa Obama got into Office, the MSM and the political left would quickly "care less" about the war. One, because it was just fodder to create mass opposition to help Papa Obama get elected and two, it is part of the "soft bigotry of low expectations" to make anything Papa Obama does as wonderful.

The signs of this "change of heart" by the political left and the MSM has been in the making for some time now.

Back in August of 2009, we saw the ever astute " ACORN who" Charlie Gibson in his best state approved MSM teachable moment:

And the President announced that he was against air attacks and wanted troops on the ground, at least that was before the Army ask for 40k troops. Then he delayed for months and agreed to send an additional 30 thousand over time but with a withdrawal date. One of the videos above I believe references the call for no air strikes by Obama.
