Where is alll the "disgruntled employees"

So let me get this straight. NONE of the people throwing personal insults at the OP can refute ANY of the information he has posted? If this is the case, why the personal insults for simply providing solid information available for discussion?

What is to refute?

Also, President Obama is less than a year into his Presidency. Most of those disgruntled Bush employees left in the late part of his first term. Did any leave before 9/11 or shortly thereafter as in his first year?

How do we know there are not disgruntled employees of the Obama Admin that won't appear in a year or so? I assume there will be as there always is, but that doesn't make President Obama a bad President if he should get someone that is unhappy later.

Immie

John O'Neil did, he tried and tried to get the Bush admin to pay attention to the threat of Bin Ladin. They refused so he left his job after years of government service and DIED in the towers on 911. It was his first week on the job.

Whistle-Blower on Student Aid Is Vindicated

Published: May 7, 2007
WASHINGTON — When Jon Oberg, a Department of Education researcher, warned in 2003 that student lending companies were improperly collecting hundreds of millions in federal subsidies and suggested how to correct the problem, his supervisor told him to work on something else.

Michael Temchine for The New York Times
Jon Oberg, a former Department of Education researcher, warned that student loan companies were abusing a subsidy program and collecting millions in federal payments to which they were not entitled.
The department “does not have an intramural program of research on postsecondary education finance,” the supervisor, Grover Whitehurst, a political appointee, wrote in a November 2003 e-mail message to Mr. Oberg, a civil servant who was soon to retire. “In the 18 months you have remaining, I will expect your time and talents to be directed primarily to our business of conceptualizing, competing and monitoring research grants.”

For three more years, the vast overpayments continued. Education Secretary Rod Paige and his successor, Margaret Spellings, argued repeatedly that under existing law they were powerless to stop the payments and that it was Congress that needed to act. Then this past January, the department largely shut off the subsidies by sending a simple letter to lenders — the very measure Mr. Oberg had urged in 2003.

how much lead paint do you ingest on a daily basis?

Time out now.....while I cannot vouch for the sources, this makes for VERY interesting reading. Are you Del, or any of the other people slinging personal insults, refuting the information posted here?

i didn't refute it when i read it two and a half years ago.

i fail to see its relevance now. i'm sure it will become more relevant as the obama administration, aka bush III, exhibits more of the same activities.

thanks for asking.

Perhaps is has no relevance now, for someone like yourself who read it two and a half years ago. This is news to me.

The point is the hypocrits who spew hate on Obama for this latest security problem yet they defended Bush when these people came out of the admin TELLING all of the world that Bush and team planned to Attack Iraq before 911 even happened and refused to listen to the threat of Bin ladin.

Those who now blame Obama put party over country.

There was a plethora of these types of whistle blowers being sidelined in the Bush admin.

They fought whistle blower protection laws.

Sibel Deniz Edmonds (born 1970)[1] is a Turkish-American[2][3][4] former FBI translator and founder of the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition (NSWBC). Edmonds was fired from her position as a language specialist at the FBI's Washington Field Office in March, 2002, after she accused a colleague of covering up illicit activity involving foreign nationals, alleging serious acts of security breaches, cover-ups, and intentional blocking of intelligence which, she contended, presented a danger to the United States' security. Since that time, court proceedings on her whistleblower claims have been blocked by the assertion of State Secrets Privilege.
