Where does the constitution provide for the establishment of czars? Obama is setting up a shadow government with his hand picked group of socialists and trying to give them enough power to control congress and ram his socialist dictatorship down our throats.

If Obama successfully crashes the economy, those czars will be very important to running the country without congress. Or the constitution.

America needs to wake up before its too late.

You talk like this is the first time a POTUS has appointed people to be in powerful (or at least somewhat powerful) positions without Congressional approval. It's not:

And it's not like GOP Presidents haven't had so-called czars, either.

Whether or not czars should be allowed is a whole other story...

Did any of you cons have a problem with Bush Jr's czars?

Why do you assume people didn't have a problem with it?

Why do you try to use Chimpola as a shield when you know Obama is doing wrong?

Are you saying that as long as Obama does what chimpola did it's ok?

Think for yourself for godsake and stop trying to make excuses, especailly childish ones.

Why do you assume to know what he's thinking or whether he "knows" Obama is doing something wrong?

His Ossiah would never do anything wrong.

The President is allowed to appoint anyone he wants as his advisers , however for them to run things requires Senate approval. Without Senate "advice and consent" I would say they are unconstitutional as anything other then people to advice him on matters of State.

Section 2. The President shall be commander in chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the militia of the several states, when called into the actual service of the United States; he may require the opinion, in writing, of the principal officer in each of the executive departments, upon any subject relating to the duties of their respective offices, and he shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment.

He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States, whose appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by law: but the Congress may by law vest the appointment of such inferior officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the courts of law, or in the heads of departments.

So who exactly qualifies as a czar? As best we can tell, it's whenever someone in the media says so. You can identify a guy as "Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and Co-Chair of the President’s Council of Advisers on Science and Technology," but it's a lot easier on everyone to just say "Science Czar." And "Special Master" sounds like Richie Rich's best friend.

So the title of czar is largely arbitrary media shorthand for "It's this person's job to make sure (blank) goes right." And we think everyone can agree that "Terrorism Czar" sounds way cooler than "Deputy National Security Adviser for Homeland Security."

PolitiFact | McCain says Obama has more czars than the Romanovs

Now the question would be, do these positions rise to the level of 'high office'?
