Where are the jobs? As of October 31st there were approx 3,267,000 job openings (non-farm payroll jobs). 360,000 in Government, 2,907,000 private sector.
Construction: 93,000
Manufacturing: 231,000
Trade, Transportation, Utilities: 564,000 (321,000 retail trade)
Professional and Business Services: 618,000
Education and Health Services: 602,000
Leisure and Hospitality 366,000 (accomodation and food services 316,000)

Republican politicians continue to repeat ad nauseum that the reason they defend low tax rates for the wealthy is to sustain an environment which creates new jobs. Tax rates at this time are the lowest they've been in nearly 50 years. Why is the unemployment rate hovering around 9%

It has to be both parties that take advantage of opportunities that arise. Why would the Obama administration stall on the Keystone pipeline that would guarantee jobs from the private sector instead of taxpayer money? We should take the private industry's commitment whenever we can and save taxpayer funds for Medicare and Social Security?

Yeah like the fantastic Reagan years. He and Bush 41 quadrupled the national debt and funneled trillions of dollars of the borrowed money into the pockets of the wealthiest Americans through tax cuts.

No, the government didn't funnel any money to the wealthy through tax cuts. That's a physically impossible thing to do since the government doesn't make any money. They have only what we give them.

So that is another lie you've been caught in this week. You must not be very confident in the things you say considering you so frequently have to make up "facts" in order to make your points.

Technically the government makes all of the money, through the Federal Reserve.

The economic p[roblems this nation faces are SYSTEMIC.

A change in the White House isn't going to solve those problems.

More of SAME in the White House isn't going to solve that problem, either.

We're not going to solve those problems until we ADMIT those problems ARE the problem.
