The Republicans should just make a budget with all the cuts the Tea Party wants, reduce the size of the government to what RON PAUL wants and tell the congress if they want to know what's in the bill they have to pass it first. I sure pelosi would go for it'

Democrats control the Senate and the White House, Republicans control the House. The only one you hold to the standard of doing something is the Republicans.

And BTW, no, their job is not to "legislate." Their job is to do what's necessary and the least of it as possible. Well, that's what it was before we chucked the Constitution as an impediment to socialism.

Sadly, no. Social Security/Medicare is the greatest evil ever perpetrated on the American people by it's own government because it makes everyone a dependent of government, which is of course why socialists love it so dearly. Obamacare is the next greatest evil to date and only trails because it hasn't gone as far. In fact it has the potential to be even worse.
