When will Romney speak on Sandy

Don't you righties find it small minded that Romney would try to reinvent the wheel and start up his own relief effort rather than visiting existing agencies and help out and observe how things are going. Boost moral, rally the troops kind of thing?

anyone can take up a collection and donate to where they want..
GET your lame ass off the Internet and do something for you fellow Americans in need besides acting a fool and showing your ass

"Gov are you going to eliminate FEMA?" a print pooler shouted, receiving no response.

Wires reporters asked more questions about FEMA that were ignored.

Romney kept coming over near pool to pick up more water. He ignored these questions:

"Gov are you going to see some storm damage?"

"Gov has [New Jersey Gov.] Chris Christie invited you to come survey storm damage?"

"Gov you've been asked 14 times, why are you refusing to answer the question?"

Do you think Romney should make an address now, wait until tomorrow, or put it in his next rally speech?

Depends. Is this the half of the country Romney cares about or the half of the country he doesn't care about? Perhaps he will tell us in his "speech".

Apparently the half he cares about.

3. Romney’s Playing Partisan Favorites With Calls To Governors

Gov. Romney has made calls exclusively to Republican Governors, namely Bob McDonnell (R-Va.) and Chris Christie (R-N.J.), to offer support and talk about storm preparation.

Romney is seemingly unconcerned about Dem-led states in the storm’s path, neglecting to call any Democratic governors bracing for the storm in states such as Maryland (Gov. O’Malley), Massachusetts (Gov. Patrick), New York (Gov. Cuomo), and North Carolina (Gov. Perdue). And it’s Romney who wrongly accuses Obama of rejecting bi-partisanship.

"Let him die" is such a lousy talking point.

This is the issue. If Romney wanted to help he could either take the path that would do the most good, use a box truck to deliver supplies, or the other path would be to used the biggest campaign banner ad he has to deliver supplies. There might be the reason that he thought he would be able to gather enough supplies so that the space under the bus would be sufficient. Believe it or not I wanted to find something encouraging that at least Romney would care about people caught in natural, or any other, disaster. This is not encouraging to say the least. If anyone has any example at all that Romney gives a shit about anything but his own advancement I am open to any example.

No, you're really not, but here...

MSNBC Ridicules Romney for Collecting Food and Supplies for Sandy Victims | NewsBusters.org
The stop was billed as a “storm relief” event, and attendees were asked to bring non-perishable foods and other items for those affected by the storm. Long white tables to one side of the cavernous James S. Trent Arena were piled high with flashlights, batteries, diapers, toothbrushes, mini-deodorants, fleece blankets, cereal, toilet paper and canned goods.

Two large TV screens at the front of the venue bore the logo of the American Red Cross and the message: “Sandy: Support the Relief Effort. Text ’REDCROSS’ to 90999 to make a $10 donation.”

Mitt Romney asks Kettering, Ohio crowd to aid in hurricane relief efforts - Toledo Blade
There was no political talk, no mention of President Obama. The Republican former governor of Massachusetts spoke just five minutes in the Dayton suburb of Kettering before getting down to work shaking hands with members of the crowd as they delivered bags of food items and helping to box the items for delivery to the South Jersey Chapter of the American Red Cross in Sewell, N.J.

Later, while packing the truck with U.S. Sen. Rob Portman, Mr. Romney ignored repeated questions from reporters as to whether his budget cuts would claim the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the lead agency dealing with the nation’s response to the storm.

spin that, dipshit.

He won't answer because he can't remember if he was for it or against it.

No one has the right to call Kerry anything after this fish quits flopping around.

He's set a new standard.

NAAA, Obama has that title also as the worst President of the United States

tsk tsk this storm won't change people minds about him

Good question, Empty.

When will Romney once again remind us that he thinks FEMA is an example of creeping socialism and that the people whose lives were destroyed by this hurricane are nothing but worthless parasites demanding welfare from the federal government?

I just love it when the Mittster shows up what GOP tough love looks like
