I disagree with you on this point. Israel was part of the Persian empire for over 1000 years. And those were the best 1000 years the Jews ever had & under Zoroastrian rule. Every Persian king of the Achemenids & Parthians treated the jews favorably. Except for a very few exceptions during the Sassanid dynasty, Jewish/Zoroastrian relations have always been good.

Right MJB----that was the bit of tension to which I referred ----relations
between jews and zoroastrians are still good----IN MUMBAI and in Israel
The only zoroastrians I ever met were via jewish friends from Mumbai who
seem to agree on many points including the idea that the muslims in
mumbai cause problems for the jews and zoroastrians in mumbai.

I have had the pleasure of encountering ---here in the USA---the DIVERSITY
of mumbai-----hindus, muslims, jews, christians, and zoroastrians
I do not recall any sikhs -----maybe there are none from there.----MOSTLY
the rumor is they all get along -----except----well -----you know who

geeeeee there is a history of some tension between jews and zoroastrians
over IDEOLOGY-----but as far as I know it was never very seriously destructive.
some how the zoroastrians of Persia became so INSULAR that they decided
to disallow new members and -----created their own self destruction

The Persians were the masters of empire. They conquered lands in battle & did not force others to convert, leave or be killed like the Muslims did in all of their conquered lands. What a difference a religion makes.
