When the El Nino fades....

Which models will be correct or will none?
Hard to tell. Only one model actually predicted just how intense this El Nino would be. Three months ago, most of the models showed the El Nino ending between April and July. Now there are several showing the El Nino intensifying after that period. Hard to tell what is going to happen. But if the El Nino does go back up to 2 this summer 2016 will be a real barnburner.

The Texas-based high-energy accelerator would have easily found the Higgs and been capable of searching for still more evidence of new physics

So you support funding that, space exploration and funding fusion. We'll see the next you're in power.

Mattpew, I can see why you stick to a strict copy/paste, that reply is about as bad as it gets.

Fusion and Space Exploration, it is nice to see how wildly you speculate. You can not find one post of mine in regards to either. Give it shot and see.

El Nino has slain The Blob.

That is, The Blob was caused by the RidiculouslyResilientRidge blocking the normal wind patterns that caused upwelling of cool water in the Gulf of Alaska region. The strong El Nino finally broke that pattern, winds in the region got more back to normal, and The Blob has faded. The first image here is from July 2015, the second from Jan 2016.

Incorrect: As usual..

The blob was defeated by cold water and oceanic circulation changes. The "blocking high" theroy was laid to rest last year by real science when they discovered a mid-level change of circulations at 2500m. That circulation has now resumed its normal (as far as we have observed) with the cold water influx from the south pole.

We will most certainly be headed for a very cold La Niña and not a rebounding El Niño.

This next winter is going to do two things... Extend the pause to over 20 years and finish laying waste to the CAGW crap with a step decrease following the coming La Niña.

The fact we have not see a step increase with the current dying El Niño and that we have persisted in a La Niña flow even during the high portion of the current event indicates it will most certainly cool rapidly and substantially. The fact that global atmospheric flow did not change to a warming flow proves the cooling state of t the earth.

Enjoy your two or three months of warming hype, it will be short lived and you will be very unhappy when the northern hemisphere follows the southern hemisphere in cooling...

2014 record high. 2015 higher yet. 9 consecutive months of all time monthly record highs. January 2016 breaks its record by the highest margin ever seen in a monthly record. But you think we haven't seen an increase.

How is it that you can spend close to eight months making absolutely failed prediction after absolutely failed prediction and still believe anyone would or should listen to what you have to say?

LOL

The fool speaks...

You torture the data to get your records even when the satellite data says no.. Then you dis the satellite records and tout the HCN, severely disfigured and twisted into meeting your expectations.

But then along comes reality and real science looking objectively at the real data.. BY the way here is ESRL (NOAA's) latest prediction on SST anomaly and it lays your wet dream of a warming world waste..

currentgl.map.gif

I know you cant read graphs so I am not even going to try and teach you.... In a nut shell, by June- July we will be at zero anomaly or below. This means there will be no added heat to the winds aloft from the oceans and cooling will be the meme of the day. By October we will be -1.5 to -2.5 deg C SST anomaly and fully in La Niña for the next year..

Failed predictions? No.. only dopes like you are so rectally impacted you can not see reality.

Now Silly Billy, we have you on record in the Tracking the El Nino thread repeatedly stating that there would be no El Nino, and then that it would be a very weak, no show El Nino, even when it crossed into the Super El Nino territory,

Nice job Coloring, I know, wow, that is science for you Sky is Falling Kooks.

Pretty colors, thatssssss science!

Why are you against science taking measurements? Nature gave us yet another unpredictable occurrence to decipher. Surely it will add to the bank of evidence that will help us to understand what is happening.
So, ahemmmmmmm, what is happening? Did I miss something?

Anyone that thinks that the loserterian idiots deserve one ounce of credit for the nino = damn idiot. What a bunch of uneducated fucks.
Hey, if you're going to use a prop for your signature, can you at least make it grammatically correct. It is "An Ass" jesus fkn christ.

And what el nino where?

Why am I against the government funding university employees, graduates working for the government spending billions of dollars on measuring the ice?

Common sense, says it is predictable, science says there is not a computer with enough memory or processing power to input all the variables and data.

Universities already cost more than the average Americans can afford, they are now for the rich or the sports jocks.

The solution to all this politically driven hyperbole actually burns and uses more hydrocarbons than if we did nothing.

So why would I possibly object to whole departments of the government devoting themselves to the day to day measurement of ice, that comes and goes?

Mostly because I am tired of the only people who have fat safe comfortable jobs with big retirements and fat medical plans are those who go to the government schools and work for the government their entire life while telling me I am destroying the world and should be made to pay for their wizardly wisdom.

I doubt the sum total of funds spent measuring ice extents since the beginning of the satellite era is more than a couple of billion total. You try to make it sound as if that were an annual outlay. BTW, employees of state universities are employees of states - the federal government runs no universities aside from the military academies. Another BTW - research is conducted at universities as part of the educational process. Perhaps you were unaware, but to obtain a PhD in any field requires and performing, documenting and defending ORIGINAL research. And, of course, the world as a whole benefits from almost all research universities conduct, whether you care to stick your head in the sand or not.

Common sense, says it is predictable, science says there is not a computer with enough memory or processing power to input all the variables and data.

Both statements are worthlessly incorrect. What you might think is common sense is completely irrelevant. No researcher has ever said that it cannot be done. I am sure they've opined that it can't be done as well as they'd like, but it can certainly be done adequately to have significant value to all of us.

Universities already cost more than the average Americans can afford, they are now for the rich or the sports jocks.

I agree with you that they cost too much. The federal government should be funding the complete education of all citizens through tax dollars. But the federal government sending research dollars to such places LOWERS what they must charge for tuition and fees.

The solution to all this politically driven hyperbole actually burns and uses more hydrocarbons than if we did nothing.

I know that's a favorite line of yours, but it is ignorant nonsense.

So why would I possibly object to whole departments of the government devoting themselves to the day to day measurement of ice, that comes and goes?

Perhaps because you dislike the way - day to day - they make you look so foolish.

Mostly because I am tired of the only people who have fat safe comfortable jobs with big retirements and fat medical plans are those who go to the government schools and work for the government their entire life while telling me I am destroying the world and should be made to pay for their wizardly wisdom.

Wow, are you confused. Getting a college education certainly improves the odds and the likely quality of any job one obtains. And that is entirely proper. Employers benefit from an educated workforce. They also pay well for hard and difficult work so that is always another choice. But if you want a job that will pay well while only straining your brain, get a college degree. Retirements are rapidly being replaced across the board with 401Ks and their like, though industries with strong labor organizations (as many state employees have) have been able to maintain decent pension plans. Medical plans - since long before the ACA - have been rising steadily in cost and shrinking in coverage. And, of course, we now have ACA and, I think, eventually the US will join the rest of the civilized world and health care will become universal and funded with our taxes. Now your comment deriding government schools is ridiculous ignorance. Government schools are not the elite, they're the discount option. Private schools cost many times what public schools do. Many states have early enrollment programs for their residents with which you can freeze tuition at the rates in place when your child is born. Other states (like mine) offer residents large tuition discounts to children who make good grades in high school. Neither of my girls had to pay a penny in tuituion because of their good grades.

Global warming is real and a real threat. Its dominant cause really is human GHG emissions and deforestation. We do really need to act to reduce our emissions and there is really no reason that such a change cannot be made into a tremendous opportunity for growth in new industries and technology. I'm sorry you don't get to keep the world of your childhood. None of us do. So how about growing up and facing reality like an adult? Maybe even a educated one.

Crick, you are an idiot. You ranted on for so long it is about impossible to begin to address your incorrect ideas and in this thread is certainly not the place. I have had other threads where I went into detail, and in which you crick could not respond. But it is nice to see you are still smarting from all my posts from over a year ago, that you bring up here.

I think this one sentence says it best, Crick, Crick so afraid the sky is falling. Correct me if I am wrong but you were drunk when you wrote this?

I haven't the slightest regrets regarding any of those statements. They are all demonstrably correct, unlike ANYTHING in your previous post. If you disagree support your contentions and demonstrate my fallacies.

I just demonstrated that your statement I quoted shows you were drunk. That is one down.

The cost of attending a University, $40,000 and up, with books, tuition, fees, room and board, that is per year, right?
Building Millions of Wind Turbines increases the use of Coal, Oil, and Hydrocarbons, how do you manufacture the Worlds largest Wind and Solar farms without increasing the use of Coal and Hydrocarbons?
As far as not having computers large enough to input all possible data we could collect from the earth, that is a fact, we could have billions of points of data just for temperature, wind, barometric pressure, humidity, co2 levels, wind speed, direction, etc.
It is easy to demonstrate your fallacies Crick, if you care to start a thread on any of your fallacies, feel free.

Start with how Wind Turbines grow on trees or fall from the sky free and clean and do not need to be manufactured by increasing heavy industry.

I hate to tell you this but you're the only one that thinks any of your arguments hold water. That is, of course, if you actually do.

LOL. You just mean that you are jealous of those ambitious enough, and smart enough to work their way through college. And it is possible to do that. More difficult than it should be, but very possible. I know, because I am doing it. At 72 years of age. And working full time.
Given up all the technical stuff so now it is only about insults. It is nice to see the type of people that believe that CO2 is killing the World, that when challenged, they become Bigots. There are not many people on this board as foul mouthed or low as you are Old Crock, are there?

You go to College Old Crock yet you can not figure out the Formula for Power, from voltage and current? And when it is posted for you to see, you still deny 1 amp equals 12 watts?

And you are going to brag about how you are in college and think us who have finished our education and our successful are somehow jealous of you.

Old Crock you bring the argument of a small man to these boards, I just wish the rest of the World could see and hear the nonsense that supports all the crap happening in the USA and the World.

Ambitious at 72? You mean you failed and have not saved for your retirement and have nothing so you must work until you die?
That is tough, even though your are complete jerk, I feel bad that you made such poor decisions and that all you advocated for left you high and dry.

Very sad indeed.

Run, crick, run, run like the wind, we see when challenged to support the assertions you make, you have nothing. Tell us again how you can make steel with nothing but electricity, where is that one link to the foundry that does that.

Or easier yet, show us the cement plant that makes cement with no hydrocarbons, just pure electricity. Where is that link?

Or show us how Silica for Solar Panels uses pure electricity? Can't do that either? How about another post where you just declare yourself right and everyone else stupid.
