We’re so powerful, militarily, now, especially at the end of another six months.

This stuff is all pouring in: brand-new jets, the most incredible stealth jets, the F-35 fighters, the F-18, the F-16s, the — (applause) — nobody has ever seen what we’re doing. Ships, submarines — I won’t even tell you about the submarine. The most powerful ships in the world. The most powerful boats. The most powerful weapon in the world is our submarines, and they’re under construction. And we just hope to God that we never have to use them. (Applause.) We hope that we never have to use them, and we do.

WWll was the last legitimate war America was involved in when Japan attacked us at Pearl Harbor and Hitler declared war on us a few days later. Also, the Korean war might be considered somewhat legitimate.

All wars / conflicts America has been involved in since then, have been imperialist or post colonial interventions, Vietnam, Somalia, Panama, Grenada.

We marched in there. We can march right back out, bring em home and build more bases here. That's real national defense. That's real defense spending. He's got all the power in the world to do it. But he doesn't. He just keeps sending more over. He's not trying to get us out of anything. He needs the wars in order to justify keeping the printing press rolling over at the fed. And the weapons manufacturers and contractors...military spending...which is a completely different budget than defense spending.... are how they keep that printing press rolling. It's standard Keynesian operating procedure.

We just saw the Afghan papers released telling us they've been lying to us about it the whole time (through three presidents now) and then they swept it under the rug just as soon as he signed the NDAA.

We just repositioned Patriot Missile Batteries in Saudi...we have increased troop numbers in Southern Syria to 'protect' oil infrastructure. Yes INCREASED troop numbers in Syria. Troops from Afghan were relocated to Iraq.

If Donnie was really about non-intervention and stopping the war machine after the release of the Afghan Papers, he would have pulled all our troops out. He also wouldn’t be continuously hardening sanctions against Russia, or supporting Saudis genocide in Yemen, or pushing coups in Venezuela and elsewhere.
