    They are not offended when they are asked for ID, social security number or green card. Is that racial profiling, abuse of civil rights, unconstitutional? 10 times out of 10 these documents are stolen or false. That is what Arizona’s new law would allow state and local officials to ask for when making a minor traffic violation. If you do not have a driver’s license, auto insurance or registration, that is “reasonable suspicion” that you are in this country illegally coupled with “Hispanic appearance” and that is profiling and not racial profiling. Officers use profiling all the time to find criminals and illegal aliens are criminals. 30 million illegal aliens in this country is a crime. With 500,000 Hispanics in Arizona illegally, 9 times out of 10 stops will produce an illegal alien. You are not arrested because of the “minor” traffic violation, but for suspicion of being an illegal alien.
    If you are a legal resident, you should have those documents and it is not harassment to be asked to show them. It is not racial profiling if you are Hispanic because the majority of illegal aliens are Hispanic. “Hispanic appearance only is not sufficient” (Federal Immigration and Nationality Act) Hispanic appearance with no documents is “reasonable suspicion.” To profile.
