Ever since the passage of the socialist abomination that Democrats refer to as their answer to America's healthcare crisis, we've just seen CBO cost estimates creep up. And these rats who voted for it KNOW their asses are in trouble. So... as usual, they're going to try yet another marketing plan. :rolleyes:

It's disgusting that our so-called leaders spend such an inordinate amount of time trying to fool people. Note that the name of the new propaganda organization is quasi-official sounding, and no mention whatsoever of the DNC. Nope. It's an "information office", not a bunch of sleazy partisans trying to prevent incumbent Democrats from having their asses punted out into the street. :rolleyes:

I can only post snippets due to copyright rules.... but read the whole article. Amazing that, with all the problems going on in this country right now, Barack Obama has all this time on his hands to commit to bullshitting the public. But that's all we've had from this guy. There's no leadership, no governance... there's just the never-ending, squalid campaign.

Dems Launch $125M Health Campaign

Former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) and Victoria Kennedy — widow of Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) — are expected to be named co-chairmen of a $125 million campaign that White House allies are rolling out to defend health care reform amid growing signs Democrats are failing to get political traction on the issue.

The extraordinary campaign, which could provide an unprecedented amount of cover for a White House in a policy debate, reflects urgency among Democrats to explain, defend and depoliticize health care reform now that people are beginning to feel the new law’s effects.

The Health Information Center is being started by Andrew Grossman, a veteran Democratic operative who founded Wal-Mart Watch, a labor-backed group to challenge the world’s largest retailer on employee relations and other fronts.

President Barack Obama on Tuesday will kick off a series of high-profile health care reform events ahead of the November elections.

<snip>

Democrats and the White House will hold more than 100 simultaneous events nationwide as the president plunges back into the issue, selling the historic plan all over again as its provisions kick in. More than 10,000 people will be on the phone with the president as he holds a “national tele-town hall” meeting at the Holiday Park Multipurpose Senior Center in Wheaton, Md., 22 minutes from the White House.

Oh... and check out Kirstin Powers telling him to fire his in-house politicos and close the taxpayer-funded Office of Political Affairs. She's absolutely right, and I don't say that about her often. But enough is enough. These asshats need to do their JOBS and stop spending all their time acting like a bunch of ad executives trying to figure out the best way to sell soap.
