Anyone that believes this 'insurance companies will pay' has lost their minds. All you need do is look at the business model to realize that premium payers pay for EVERYTHING, and the company PROFITS are what is left after the PAYING gets done.

They have NO OTHER SOURCE of gross revenues. This whole argument is BULLSHIT!!

And why should anyone ''pay'' for the diabetes medicine for the heavy set guy? or for the broken bones of a mountain climber that fell, or the internal injuries of the race car driver in an accident or the drunk in an accident's medical bills, or the viagra for old and worn out men, or the sicknesses or shots for other people's children if they have no children themselves or for the shots of a person getting ready to travel overseas if they themselves never go overseas, or for the flu shots of others if they have never gotten the flu themselves, or etc etc etc etc etc etc etc???

That's right. You should not be forced to pay for any of that garbage. That is why there are several different insurance plans to choose from, so you don't have to pay for the other crap that you dont need. At least that is how it works before big daddy comes along and forces you to pay for a bunch of extra crap....

Georgetown forces its students to be insured, and, sets the level of coverage that students must be insured at,

if they don't buy Georgetown's insurance.

Georgetown is therefore in no place to be complaining about being 'forced' to do something re insurance.

If she wants birth control to be included in her insurance coverage then she should shop for insurance that included it. There are many policies on the market that include that coverage. It is wrong for our president to demand that private companies provide apple pie as an addition to your order of fries.

The Democrats are laughing it up right about now. The right wing wants to talk about how Obama, allegedly, can't run on his record. But the truth is that the GOP is the group that has nothing to offer, and so they're trying to erase Obama's record. What they don't realize is that they are playing right into his hands. The GOP needs to get out there and actually offer some solutions to help keep the country moving forward, instead of bitching that Obama has moved the country forward in the ways he's felt were most important. I don't like the health care law, was opposed to it then and I still am. But I'm not going to waste my time babbling about contraception of all things, and comparing birth control to McDonald's apple pie. They made a move about that in the late 90s, and the consequences were pretty damn bad, if you recall. Until the GOP start offering REAL opposition (which is available, but they just don't seem to want to touch) they are going to be playing into Obama's hands.

Babbling on about pie and fries is not going to stop Obama from being re-elected. Get out there and start offering up entrees for God's sake. If you can't, shut up about someone else's sides and desserts.
