When are We Going to Get Serious About Protecting Our Kids in School and Do Something That WORKS?

When a Federali judge got assassinated in a San Antonio a few years back, the government responded swiftly with metal detectors, bag searches, police presence and serious security systems that are monitored constantly.

We havent had a judge shot since and no one had to cause a Constitutional crisis by trying to disarm American citizens.

So why havent we taken serious measures to protect our children?

Well, it seems to me to involve several factors:

1. Gun Grabbing fascists use every school shooting as an opportunity to push their anit-gun agenda. This emotional hysteria is counter-productive by being a huge distraction to taking concrete steps that might actually work.

2. the media exploits school shootings for entertainment ratings. CNN doesnt give a fig about how many kids die in gun fire, they just want to improve their pathetic ratings so they can charge more for air time. They have no interest in pushing for real solutions that will protect our kids.

3. Despite the effectiveness of the NRA in opposing anti-gun laws, Big Pharma and teachers unions do not want anyone digging into the causes of school shootings and placing independent authorities in our schools alongside teachers.

Meantime, our kids are in defenseless buildings where they are taught how to run and hide if a deranged madman shows up with a gun.

I know the teachers unions hatre any discussion of providing effective security for schools, like bag searches and one way doors. These teachers are as bad as their students iin so many ways, smoking dope in the teachers lounge, or hiding out back, etc.
