what's with the hideous ads?

The ads I see are mostly about sex, exercise, and fitness ^_^

Where do you live? I think these are localized. I live in Europe in Hungary and I see other ads. Products are advertised within reach.

For example:
Net-waiter
Pizza tel rendel s s h zhozsz ll t s ttermi szolg ltat s - NetPinc r.hu

or ThinkPad
Ez a ThinkPad - Lenovo HUNGARY

Madyar, Madyar!!!!

kitűnő!!!!

:D

And it is often too: English language School

As things are at the moment, all the ads I see are holiday stuff - that being because I've done loads of searches for that sort of thing over the last few weeks.
The vast majority of my normal searches are either political or educational, so I'm less than pleased to see porno shit when I visit this forum, something I never see on ANY other site I visit.

Yes I think the ads I'm getting are due to the site visits here, because I have never searched for any types of stuff like that, but when visit with my phone I get these hideous ads at the lower end of where I'm typing this very post at on my phone.

Guessing that these ads are generated by topic visits here, because they seem to be running in connection with the topics here or they are keying off words from topics here.

I'm wondering if a good few forum members are searching sex sites, the bot software seeing the links between this site and pervert sites.

In a few weeks MicroSoft will release an entirely new browser.

Seems too many people have learned how to activate stuff like ad and script blockers in IE and the profitability had dwindled.

Waiting to hear from "early adopters" whether they'll be able to use that good stuff with the new browser.

Not sure how it all works, but the adds are aggravating to say the least. I have adfender on my desktop comp, and it seems to be working ok for that situation. Not sure what works for these phones.
