I don't understand this whole "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" or Gays in the military thing. I don't know what the problem is. Why is it even an issue?

Another thing, what's the problem with the unemployment rate? I know it went down, which is a good thing, but how did it go down with only 110,000 new jobs added? Like the last time it went down, no one made a big deal about it because everyone knew it was because people just gave up and not because they found jobs. Is this the case this here as well?

Previously it was illegal to be homosexual when you joined the military.

then it became optional.

Now it's legal.

At this rate, in another few years it'll be mandatory.
