IMHO, had Obama lost the election, McCain would have signed the TARP bill, which ends up costing over 700 billion. He would have supported the Wall Street bailout. He would have signed unemployment extensions. He probably would cut the size of the jobs bills, let GM go bankrupt, but spent more on Afghanistan and Iraq. Without the Obama backlash, the House would probably still be controlled by the Democrats. And the deficit would be well over a trillion dollars possibly a lot more.

Let's see:

Spending Trillions of dollars we don't.
Actively trying to destroy the United Stat'es ability to produce energy (Which conveniently his donors profit from).
His constant grab of power that the Federal Government does not have. IE Healthcare, Speech regulating etc.

In essence, his policies are the problem. He seem to have this faulty premise that government the solution to everyone problem. It's not. And the fact that he ignores the fact that our Federal Government has limited jurisdiction to act, should bother anyone who cares about liberty in this nation.

Animosity? no. I wish him the best of luck in his life, but he needs to be somewhere other than the Presidency. There are people's lives at stake. And we are beginning to see what the effect of those policies will be.

First I didn't like the way he immediately blew off the internet users first question after they raised millions for him. (But the Feds have stop busting the medical marijuana shops)

I don't like the way he(or any other politician) promised the moon. But then I didn't like it that the fucking people believed him either.

I think he conceeded to the Republicans too early in the debate over health care or the way he dropped the public option.

I don't like that he extented the Bush era tax cuts on the few Americans who can still afford to help pay down the debt that the original tax cut helped cause.

I don't like the way he seems to leap before he looks at times.

I don't like the White Sox either.........

well anyway, i had a feeling that in most cases the issue wasn't much more than that he was a Dem (or a black guy) Obama has not done anything outstandingly worse (or better) than any other president.
I do think it' s more than a shame that this country is divided against itself on the most trivial and frivolous of matters when there are dynamics in place to ensure that a certain agenda is furthered regardless of which "side" is currently in "control" of the government. It's the Hegelian Dialectic thesis-anthesis-synthesis

two sides appear to present opposing viewpoints (Dems vs. Reps, liberals vs. WASPs, &co) to keep us occupied while in reality, both sides ultimately work to ensure and further an elitist agenda (the synthesis). . . . .

when will we stop fighting each other and move on to more lofty pursuits? there's so much more to life than arguing about who's right.

I contact my representatives often, and I write to the POTUS every week. According to Obama, it is my duty to interact so I'm interacting.

FYI: Dissent with the leaders of the nation is not new. The left ranted like banshees about Bush. But, that was ok cuz he wasn't black. Obama has been an utter and complete failure. He's even worse than George W. Bush. The people who voted for him and are unrepentant are in serious denial. It's hard to believe some Americans can be duped so easily.
