I'm listening to Ron Kaufman, Mitt's senior advisor. He just explained how during the VP selection process that people were on a strict 'need to know' basis and that is how Mitt operates. If people did not need to know they didn't. It's at 53:20 on the time but I don't know if that can referenced from elsewhere.
