Here's a clip from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, who I usually don't watch as much as I did his predecessor, David Lettermen, partly because of his over-doing the politics, his bad impressions of Trump every night - it just gets old....apparently good for his ratings though. I have to admit even back in his old days on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, when he's on, just being himself without the writers help- he's pretty funny.

No, as I pretty much explained in the OP.
Of all the current ones Jimmy Fallon is the best, imo. And Conan - almost forgot him.

I mean, you don't even need a TV to look up almost any clip from any show on Youtube --NBC may remove some on copyright infringement, but there's still a lot out there. I miss Craig Ferguson - that dude was hilarious sometimes and very rarely political. I still like Conan too.

The others, especially Kol-Bert, are not worth the effort to stay awake. Certainly, Kol-Bert is the favorite of NYT readers.
