Cause I know what I'm doing! I'm going to Columbia to see the greatest show ever.
First up, Kimya Dawson, half of the band THe Moldy Peaches. Like I mentioned before, they're a really small band out of NYC, so for her to be performing 30 minutes away from me is really cool.
Next up, The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players. I've seen them once on Conan O'Brien, and they were pretty cool. They're a family that puts up slides that they found at garage sales and stuff and writes demented songs about them. They're really weird but funny, too.
So, yeah, I got my Oct. tenth planned out. Unfortunately, all my friends hate the moldy peaches and don't care about the trachtenburgs, so I guess I'll be going to this alone. Oh,well.
