What would you do is someone came up to you on the street like the guy in the video below & offered to sell you a $50 Gold Canadian Maple Leaf coin for $50?

I would be a little cautious. Usually when something sounds too good to be true, you should be on your guard.

Yeah I would be cautious do option 3 if I didn't know much about it.

Since I have some & know the look & feel, I would risk the $50 in a heartbeat. If I did not have $50 I would take it & run.

Can always use it as a birthday present for a niece or nephew if it didnt' pan out.

It's pretty dam hard to fake a Cdn MapleLeaf.. Even if it's painted or plated..
