Just about the only thing the Democrats fought Bush on were the tax cuts. He got almost everything he wanted.

Bush was extraordinarily successful when it came to legislation.

I disagree with this Mac, the President can do much to bring Americans together. Why do you think WWII was so successful?? FDR united the American people, he gave cause to the impact of unity. United we stand!! When the troops came home there were ticker parades in every town, people were proud to be American. It had nothing to do with being Republican or Democratic.

This "I", "me" and American enemies is too much, a President should never make war, policy or successes about him. We are a government "of the People, by the People and FOR the People. This President is too concerned about himself to get any of that "People" stuff.

Not only do Republicans tell you to your face..they take an active role in drowning government. 600K public sector jobs were lost. And that's in addition to Republicans making sure the purse strings are tied while bridges and roads crumble..and the country goes to shit.

Oh my, but you still think the government should hold Oktoberfest in Philadelphia. Less government and more Private sector = good. More government and less private sector = Europe or Cuba, not good.
You know I love these bridges and roads, but that's not what the government spends its money on and you know, that's a drop in the bucket.

Yeah he's not the "brightest" star in the sky. Yeah we need tax increases, because taxing a business means less employment, less money for workers, and hey all of us "little" people get to pay that tax in the form of a price increase. Truth needs to get some truth.

well i have said this a few times.....before Bush came along,every President whenever he was addressing the Country,I always felt he was talking to EVERYONE,or trying to anyway.....Bush i felt started talking to just those who agreed with him,and Obama is the same way.....Clinton is the last guy who i felt,was an actual President.....the attitude last Century among our Leaders was different than the "Leaders" this Century....things started changing somewhere in the nineties i think....

Since day one, Barrack Hussein Obama has been bent on implementing the most radical left-wing agenda. In his books, he makes no apologies for his association with and belief in socialist and communist tenets (agreed, not all of them). He says that he feels "more at home" with those beliefs than those of the more 'center' or 'right'. In a radio interview, Barry chastises the founding fathers for crafting a document that goes too far in limiting governments role. He did NOT sit down with the Republicans when crafting Obamacare and since he had a super majority and could do what he want, he came up with the famous line: "Elections have consequences." He has NEVER ran anything and I am convinced that he has no idea how this economy or the government actually works.

IF Mitt Romney is elected, I imagine that he will understand that he will NOT have a super majority in Congress (I would NOT want the Republicans to have one - Look how bad the Democrats did with one). Romney has worked with labor unions, banks, investors and as a governor in a Democratic state, knows that he will not be able to get anything done without a few Democrats backing his agenda. Will it be exactly what he wants? Nope, but that is the way a democracy works. You give a litte and you get a little. You DO NOT MANDATE. Something Barry and the boys just don't get.

Barrack Hussein Obama is a disaster. To paint it otherwise is fantasy. Unemployment for the nation is 8.2%, and some say its really as high as 12% (depending on how you do the figures). Unemployment for OKLAHOMA is now 4.8% and we're the REDDEST state in the union. The budget for the government (yes, we actually pass one) is the SAME as it was last year and the governor has merged agencies that share a mission (much to the displeasure of those government worshippers of the left).

Will there be those on the left that will do everything they can to go against Romeny. Yep, along with those on the far right. But I have news for you... government is most dangerous when they are DOING SOMETHING.
