What Would Rep Be Worth If You Could Buy It?

There are so many threads about rep, people really get hung up on it, and I can't say as though I can exclude myself from that, but, if the owner of the board would let you PURCHASE rep, which would in turn increase your rep POWER, what do think it should be worth?

I'd say a $2 a rep, thus 100 reps - $200.

Too high... too low?
